Founder and Financial Advisor

Xin Wang is a nationally recognized leader in the financial services industry and the Founder of Abacus Financial Strategies LLC, based in Houston, TX. With a proven track record of excellence, he was renamed a Forbes National Top Financial Security Professional¹ in 2025 and achieved the prestigious role of Council² President at New York Life in 2024. This once-in-a-career honor recognizes Xin as the top-ranking individual out of the company’s 12,000+ professionals. Notably, he is the first individual to assume this role after serving two consecutive terms as Council Vice President.

Xin holds a Ph.D. from the University of Milan and holds industry leading credentials, including the Certified Financial Planner^® (CFP^®) and Accredited Estate Planner^® (AEP^®) designations. His expertise lies in creating comprehensive, fee-based financial plans for high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Through his role as a Financial Advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC, and as an elite Plus member of The Nautilus Group, he leverages world class resources along with the dedicated support of highly educated advanced planning professionals to deliver unique, tailored solutions to his clients.

Guided by the principle that “clients’ interests always come first,” Xin’s approach emphasizes professionalism, responsiveness, and transparent communication. His commitment to providing thoughtful and customized financial guidance has earned him the trust of his clients.

Before transitioning to financial services, Xin practiced as a heart surgeon in China, which instilled in him meticulous precision, exemplary discipline, and a deep dedication to service. These attributes continue to shape his work as a financial advisor today.

Outside of his professional career, Xin cherishes time with his wife, Min, to whom he has been happily married since 1993, and their two children, Tian and Joy. He enjoys cooking, fishing, and creating memorable moments with family and friends.
